How can we escape from laziness
75How can we escape from laziness
Anthony Robbins tells us the story of a Jewish man named Stanislavsky
Lech who escaped the Krakow concentration camp. He was captured by the
Nazi soldiers and packed them into an overcrowded train and sent to
Karkow. His family members were killed in front of him and he was
assigned to work at the prison. He was awaiting his death along with
many other Jewish prisoners.
He desperately wanted to escape from the prison. He talk about his
desire with his fellow prisoners. He asked "how can we escape from this
prison?" Many of them discouraged him. Some said it is impossible.
Some warned about the severe punishment, if they found. Some kept
silent. But in his heart, there was a deep desire to escape from the
prison.
He was asking the same question again and again. He was asking the
right question in his position. He rejected the negative answers and
was looking for an opportunity.
Each day he asked the same question. How Can I escape from here? He
was sure. There is a way to escape from there. There must be some
way. He was looking for the way out.
He noticed that a truck would come when there is enough dead body of
men and women who were killed by the Nazis because of their inability
to work. One day he decided to try his luck. He removed his cloths and
lay still, pretending to be dead, among the dead bodies. He lay there
for a day and more bodies thrown around him.
Finally, the truck came, rough hands pushed him inside the truck. He
lay there many more hours pretending to be dead. Finally his body was
dumped into an open grave. He waited there until the nightfall. When
he made sure that there were none, he climbed out and ran twenty five
miles to freedom.
We need to ask the right question when we are in trouble.
When we are suffering, when we are in trouble, what questions are we
asking? Jesus said. Ask and you will receive. We need to ask the right
question every time to get an answer.
There is a sure way for every problem. If you want make money, there
is a right and legible way for it. If you want a successful carrier,
there is a way for it. If you want an better life, there is a way for
it. You ask, and it will be given to you. You will find the way out.
For that you need to be like Lech. He was surrounded by hopeless
people. But he kept his hope. He had a desire. He had a question.
It was in front of him all the time. In a split of a second, he made
his decision to escape from the Concentration camp.
We all are belonging to one or other concentration camp. From where we
want to escape. Your concentration camp could be your financial
difficulties or lack of skill or knowledge. It could be
procrastination. It could be your laziness. You know it better. Find
out and identify the concentration camp. Ask that empowering
question. How can I escape from this camp. Sure. There is a way. A
way out. Take that decision. Move ahead and come out.
It is your day.
PS: I was like Lech. Looking for some ways to earn some extra money. I

Your wonderful story will mark a memory to my rest of life. What is in summary you narrated” Finally, the truck came; rough hands pushed him inside the truck. He lay there many more hours pretending to be dead. Finally his body was dumped into an open grave. He waited there until the nightfall. When he made sure that there were none, he climbed out and ran twenty five miles to freedom.” You have given an example of unparallel determination in achieving a desire. Marry Christmas and let the blessings of Marry be fall upon you. Wonderful example.

Thanks for the this good message. Nice hub!
I absolutely love this story. Thanks so much for it!
Your hub given the tips on how to escape from laziness.I enjoyed reading it AND APPLY some tips on me as I'm a lazy one.
Inspiring! Thanks for the encouragement. 'Ask and you shall receive...' particularly holds great insight as Jesus then made the 'cheque' blank by saying, '...for whoever asks receives...' Getting up is the first step towards getting out. I had an experience recently when my friends told me that I needed to apply for a document about four to six times (each application lasting about three months before processing) to stand a chance of being issued the document. I was worried and I believed them but I just applied thinking, 'the earlier the better'. I got it the first time. No one seem to believe but I have it! I love your tribute to hubpages. Well done
Very thought provoking.
