Benefits of Forgive right away or instant forgiveness.
72Benefits of Forgive right away or instant forgiveness.
Forgiveness is one thing which we need to do immediately. Other wise
it would eat up our mental peace, time, money, life and energy. You
know we have a limited time to live in this earth. Then what is the
point in wasting our time for something which is of no use. Why we
should forgive immediately? For some, it would take a long time to
forgive. A year or two. For some the period may extent to 10 to 20
years. If it is to forgiven eventually, why not now? That is my
question. The longer we keep the grudge the greater the price we need
to pay.
The other important aspect of forgiveness is that it gives more joy and
peace than keeping grudge or taking revenge. If we can get joy, peace
of mind and time to focus on more important things by forgiving, why should we
wait? Let us do it now and enjoy the joy and benefit of forgiveness.
Some of the reasons for the forgiveness is mentioned below: You may
have some more reasons. Please mention it in the comment part. It
would be helpful for others to take a decision to forgive instantly.
Reasons to forgive
1. It give us mental peace.
2. It will help us to focus on important matters of life.
3. It will reduce the stress in our brain.
4. Taking revenge will be of time, money or energy consuming.
5. Forgiving lead to peace and happiness
6. The people to whom you forgive may be a source of help in the
coming days.
7. Keeping grudge may consume your mental peace.
8. Keeping grudge and taking revenge will consumer your time.
9. Keeping grudge and taking revenge will give only a mental pleasure.
10. Keeping grudge and taking revenge will affect your moral life.
11. By forgiving we can avoid the state of depression.
12. Keeping grudge and taking revenge may take our mental control and
we may do something bad which will end up in negative effect to you and
to others.
13. Keeping grudge will control our mental thought process and limit
to a certain extent.
14. Keeping grudge will lead to the most terrible unhappiness.
15. We should forgive others because not doing so makes them unhappy.
16. Keeping grudge will poisons your whole being enough to make you
physically ill.
Jesus said: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive
others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." We need
forgiveness. We do many mistakes every day. Some of the sins are
deliberate or intentional. If we need forgiveness for our intentional
and unintentional sins, we need to forgive too. To those who sin
against us intentionally or unintentionally. Just as we need
unconditional forgiveness, others also deserve forgiveness.
Unconditional forgiveness. Apostle John said "If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from
all unrighteousness." He is talking about the forgiveness of sin from
God.
The longer we keep the grudge, the greater the loss would be. We need
to forgive instantly. But one thing I noticed that many who preach
forgiveness is very slow to forgive. It will take time for them to
forgive. They have to carry the stress and strain in their brain for
some time. Then they forget and forgive. If it is to forgive
eventually, why not now? Instant decisions will save much stress and
strain in your brain. It will help you to continue in your friendship
with your friends. So , we should forgive others because not doing so
makes them unhappy, but
apart from that; it poisons your whole being enough to make you
physically ill.
Forgive yourself or self forgiveness.
Many people find it difficult for them to forgive themselves. Why not we forgive ourselves? Who deserve it most? You cannot truly learn to forgive others until you learn to forgive yourself. If you hold on guilt, regrets.... you are closing the doors for yourself. For your growth, for your free thinking, you need to forgive yourself. We should forgive ourselves because there is no point looking back - you can't change the past - and God is there to forgives us completely. If we can't change the past, what is the point in not forgiving ourselves.

I will never seek revange, but I can only forgive "that" much and almost never turn the other cheek; it is a lesson that I learned too late in life, but I am glad I can now set boundries and not let anyone and for any reason cross them. I don't feel less of a Christian because of it, I just feel more of a person ready to stand up for her rights.
Interesting Hub! Good Scriptures!
Very practical hub that brings a sense of peace in mind.
I like the way you express the importance of relaxing one's mind.
nice hub
Thanks jacobkuttyta for your powerful appealing and convincing about forgiveness immmediately. I think you preached a love story and showed the Light of God who always forgive for us and waiting to give the blessing for us if we come to His Divine Mercy. May God bless you and your family in the Christmas season......
good hub.I liked it.
Its a good word that can't be repeated enough - forgiveness is essential to peace.
Very nicely written hub and i completely agree with it but only thing i have a problem is , if you forgive easily then people think hey he/she wont say anything and would do that or something to hurt you again and also it is taken as weakness too.
Another word for forgiveness for me is letting go and there is so much that we hold onto that is toxic. I keep practicing letting go, forgiving, every day. THANKS FOR THE USEFUL PRACTICAL TIPS. Thanks for the reminder. There is not enuf forgiveness in our world.
Vern
The story you portrayed is very well executed in your hub.

What a refreshing hub to read first thing this morning. I love the scriptures you share, and I am often reminded that we are all sinners, it is just the born nature of man, and how important it is to receive that forgiveness from our heavenly father it is just important to forgive others. We should not move in a spirit of offense holding grudges, but allow the word of God and the Spirit to lead us in forgiveness that we may attain that perfect peace. Great Hub, voted way up!
