How to Take responsibility of your life, move ahead, time is short
74Daisy was doing her work in such a hurry that, her daughter Smita a 5 year old, was curious as to why mom is doing all her work in such a fast paced manner. Smita interrupted Daisy and asked: "Mom are you going somewhere after completing your work? Why are you so hurry doing all these works?" Stopping for a moment, Daisy replied: Baby, see that candle. It is about to go off and we do not have another candle in our house to replace it. I have to finish the work before it goes off.
Our life is like a candle. Every day it is burning and nearing its end. One day we would go off the world. We cannot replace our life with another one. But there are many things to be done before our candle go off. Unfinished work causes disappointment. Time is running like a racing horse. No one can stop it. Whether you are doing your work or not, it continues it's journey.
It is the time to finish your work and get ready to face the reality. If you are ready, there is no disappointment. If you are not ready, there is disappointment. No one can replace you. You are a unique creation in this world.
Once a teacher told her students that she hadn't failed any one in the class. A cheer went around the class. Then she told them again that she hadn't passed anyone either. And she told them that it is you, students had done it. Yes, it is true. We are the ones, who are making ourselves, pass or fail in life. No one else.
Understanding that will take us to high above. Not understanding them and pointing others for your failure is just like drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die. Take the responsibility of your life. Bill Gates once told "if you born poor, it's not your mistake; but if you die poor, it's your mistake"
Take responsibility of your life, move ahead, time is short.

Time does not care how we use it, it just continues on doing its job. As you said, it is up to us to decide how we will use it or misuse it.
Nice hub jacobkuttyta. Thank you!
Forever His,
Great Hub...what is our calling, what is the true reason for our life here. Those who sit and expect to get that answer in a revelation without doing well they are special and very lucky. We have one chance at doing God's will in the time we have been given.
Blessings
Thank you, Jacob, for reminding me that it is not who we are in this world, but what we do while we are here in this too short time.
I like your wonderful analogy “Life is like the burning of a candle”.
I just woke up and turned on my computer and there it was, the words for the spirit that I so desperately needed to get me to another, higher level in my journey as a writer. This Hub is a special one for me. A treasure. Thank you, Jacob.
How true this is. We are given the opportunity to make the best of every moment. Life is never over until we stop breathing. Accomplish all goals. Leave no stone unturned. Positivity

Wonderful thoughts.
Thank you so much your this hub! It is very inspirational. I agree totally with all you said. Your hub has nudged me that I must get busy! Time is too short, and much too precious, to let it slip by without fulfilling our purpose here on this earth. And we were all put here for a reason, we are not meant to waste these moments. Thank you again for the reminder.
Hi Jacob,
Time is precious, time is money. All rich and successful men and women value time in place of money.
Thanks for sharing.
Thumbs up!

You are brilliantly upholding the the need of committed action, "Karma". Great !
Great hub. I will be back to read more.
Comparing life to a burning candle is a powerful motivator to make the most of those last flickering moments. As the candle reaches the end it seems to disappear faster and faster, very like life! Thank you for a wise and thought provoking hub.
This is something very touchy.. thanks for sharing it with us... Love to read more of your hubs.. thanks and peace ..
