Akshrdham Temple
This is a new place to be visited in Delhi. This temple opened for
visitors on 6th November 2005. Primary deity of the temple is Bhagwan
Swaminarayan. The
temple attracts a number of visitors.
The main monument, at the center of the complex, is 141-foot (43 m)
high, 316-foot (96 m) wide, and 370-foot (110 m) long, and is covered
top to bottom with carved details of flora, fauna, dancers, musicians,
and deities.

Complex 10.00 am to 7.00 pm

October to March:
Complex 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
Exhibitions 10.00 am to 5.30 pm
Musical Fountain 6.45 pm
The entire Swaminarayan Akshardham Complex is closed on Mondays
Night Lighting: On Saturdays, Sundays.
Restaurant 'Premvati': 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Souvenir Shop: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Time needed to view Akshardham:
Main Mandir and Gardens: One and a half hours
Hall of Values, Boat Ride and Theatre: Approx. 3 hours.
Entrance Fee: Free for visiting Mandir and gardn
Exhibitions: Rs. 125/- (Hall of Vaules, Giant Screen Film, Boat Ride)
Musical fountain: Rs. 50/-
